The Maine Golf and Tennis Academy provides families with a wholesome atmosphere and excellence of golf and tennis instruction. We are a 100-year old, family owned and operated, specialty combination summer camp. All 3 in 1. A golf camp, a tennis camp and a summer camp. Campers live on a crystal clear lake in traditional cabins, with 8-9 campers and two counselors who live with them. Our Full program and customized curriculum for each camper is based on their individual level of skills and aptitude for the game.

MGTA is the only camp in America that was built for junior Golfers and junior Tennis players alike. We have a 300 yard covered driving range, Tennis courts (indoor, clay and hard), 6 practice holes and 4 practice bunkers on camp grounds. Advanced technologies for players to improve their game like the "V-1 Digital Coaching System" and the "P3 ProSwing Video Analysis System".

Finally! A sports camp that is actually at a REAL CAMP! Forget about stuffy and boring college campuses! After a challenging day of training campers will be able to relax and enjoy alternative activities. The Maine Golf and Tennis Academy offers, along side it's award winning programs: Waterskiing, Sailing, Swimming, Basketball, Soccer, Yoga/Fitness Center, Ropes course, Pro Shop, Theater. We offer an experiential education-style program, based on the kinship of fun and learning.

We have a camp mom, camp nurse and caring professional staff other then the counselors (2 to a cabin). The first 100 years  In 1907 the first "class" of boys (Kennebec was an all boys camp until the 1990's) gathered to spend a summer along the shores of Lake Salmon in Belgrade, Maine. Little could they know the tradition of life-inspiring memories they were originating. Our second 100 Years begins in the summer of 2006, when we celebrate our 100th Season as a traditional, family values summer camp.

Into our next 100 years We still embrace the very same high quality program, lead by exemplary staff, attracting the finest boys and girls from all over the world. Campers from the last 100 years return every summer to visit, who still insist this camp has instilled in them the respect for self and others, that has made them the fulfilled adult, successful family leader and inspired citizen they are today.



On picturesque Lake Salmon in Belgrade Maine, our one of a kind combination Top Junior Golf School and Top Junior Tennis School has been Re-Tooled. We are an Official PGA Traning Center and USGA Training Facility.  Once the Premier Summer Camp is now the idyllic setting for Junior Golf Camps and Tennis Camps for boys and girls age 8 -17. They come from over 30 countries around the world and almost every state in the United States.
